I came to LJ a few years ago as the result of stalking following one of my favorite fanfic authors over here. I have been in the HP fandom since the release of the fourth book, and have my mother to thank for introducing me to the amazing world that JK Rowling has created. I stumbled onto fanfiction purely by accident and have been hooked ever since. I have been known to attempt to write it from time to time. I mainly read and write HG/SS, but I worship at the altar that is Lucius Malfoy. I have a weakness for a man with an accent and would love to one day live in a drafty old castle in the countryside, far, far away from the real world.
This next bit always makes me feel like I'm trying to write some witty personals ad. Alrighty, we'll do this like a band-aid, quick and fairly painless. I'm a happily divorced single mother to a beautiful little girl who manages to make me laugh and drives me a bit insane all at once. I tend to dump a lot of personal shit here on my journal, so if that's not your thing, you have been warned. Don't lie to me, that is probably the quickest way to burn this bridge. I cherish every friendship I have forged here on LJ and sometimes I don't comment or update my journal as much as I would like, but I am lurking about reading.
I tend to just ramble for the most part but you will find that I lend a good ear when needed and words of support. I will gladly tell you the truth and love to agree to disagree with someone. If you friend me, I will probably friend you back. I love to meet new people and my philosophy is 'the more the merrier'. So come, kick back, relax and stay for a spell.
